As Lemont High School students enter the homestretch of the 2012-13 school year, learning remains our top priority. However, upcoming non-academic milestone events – including Prom and Graduation – will supply students with life-long memories. Prom activities and graduation parties generate a lot of fun, but unfortunately some students make poor choices during these festivities by consuming alcoholic beverages or partaking in drug use. Lemont girls’ soccer brings home a fourth-place finish in IHSA Class 2A Tourney

Lemont High School’s girls’ soccer team has earned the program’s third state trophy in five seasons. The Indians settled for fourth place after falling to Fenwick by a 1-0 score in the third-place game of the 2013 IHSA Class 2A State Finals, which were contested at North Central College in Naperville. Head coach Rick Prangen’s squad previously earned a runner-up finish at the 2009 IHSA Class 2A State Finals, and was third at the 2011 event. MORE »

District 210 Board of Education meeting moved to June 24

The June meeting of the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education has been rescheduled. The meeting, which originally was scheduled for June 17, now will take place on Monday, June 24. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the District 210 Board Room. MORE »
