Lemont speech team wins first-ever South Suburban Conference title
Lemont High School’s speech team continued its terrific 2009-10 season when it won its first-ever South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title on Thursday, January 27, at Oak Lawn High School. Lemont won the conference championship on the strength of seven top-five finishes in individual events. MORE »

Lemont cheerleading wins second straight IHSA State Championship
Lemont High School’s cheerleading squad captured its second IHSA state title in as many years on Saturday, February 6, when it finished first in the Medium Division at the 2010 IHSA Cheerleading State Finals at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill. The Indians edged second-place Riverside-Brookfield by nearly 1.50 points on the second and final day of competition. MORE »
