As Lemont High School students enter the homestretch of the 2012-13 school year, learning remains our top priority. However, upcoming non-academic milestone events – including Prom and Graduation – will supply students with life-long memories. Prom activities and graduation parties generate a lot of fun, but unfortunately some students make poor choices during these festivities by consuming alcoholic beverages or partaking in drug use. 2013 Summer Hours

Lemont High School will utilize a four-day work week during the months of June and July 2013, with the school's offices closed to the public each Friday during those months.

Beginning the week of June 3, the building will be open daily (Monday through Thursday) for nine hours, from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Office will be closed for lunch between 12-1 p.m. daily.

Lemont High School will be closed on June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19 and July 26. The school also will be closed on Thursday, July 5.

Please note that sports camps that are scheduled on Fridays will go on as scheduled.

The school hopes to reduce utility costs by having the building unlighted and without air conditioning one additional day each week during those two months. In August, the school will revert to its regular schedule, open daily (Monday through Friday) from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
