Grading Schedule

Lemont High School operates by semesters, with students taking final exams for the fall and spring semesters in December and May, respectively. Each semester includes one cumulative grade per course for the 18-week period.

The Family Access Open Gradebook affords parents the ability to monitor their students' academic progress throughout the course of the school year. While parents are encouraged to continually monitor their students' progress, there are two major grade "checkpoints" each semester - Progress Reporting periods, or "PR's" - that serve as indicators of a student's progress in that course.

Report cards are available on-line as well, but are also mailed home to parents within two weeks of the conclusion of each semester.
