Mar 10,10 Lemont finishes third in IDEA Regional, two students take top honors

For the third straight year, a Lemont High School student has earned first-place honors in the Illinois Drafting Educators Association (IDEA) Regional Drafting Competition. However, for the first time, Lemont can boast two individual winners in the same year, as seniors Mark Kaminski and Kathy Sitko each finished first in their respective divisions at the IDEA Regional at Joliet Junior College on March 5. Mar 08,10 Lemont Poms earns two top-ten finishes at Team Dance Illinois state competition

Lemont High School’s Varsity Poms team completed its 2009-10 season with a pair of top-ten finishes at the 2010 Team Dance Illinois State Championship, which was held at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill., on Sunday, March 7. Four Lemont High School students earned top honors in their category at the 2010 Chicago Architecture Today “Midwest Creative Architecture Competition,” which culminated with an awards ceremony at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Rice Campus in Wheaton on Saturday, March 6.
