Lemont High School's Athletic Council visits Old Quarry

Lemont's Athletic Council visited with Old Quarry Middle School's eighth graders to discuss opportunities at the high school level.

On February 24, Lemont High School's Athletic Council visited students at Old Quarry Middle School. The Athletic Council includes a select number of the school's student-athletes, with representatives coming from all sports.

Members of the Athletic Council work together to promote positive energy and sportsmanship at athletic and other events, and promote interest and provide information for incoming students. In its recent visit to Old Quarry, the Athletic Council spoke with 8th graders about programs available that will be available to them at Lemont High School next year.

Lemont High School's Athletic Council this year includes: seniors Mariah Balinski, Nick Drez, Mike Dvorak, Jordan Fandrey, Zach Howell, Meagan Johnson, Danielle Maturo, Alex Nelson, Alex Prasauskas, Darija Siliunas and James Tuscher; and juniors Evan Bridwell, Taylor Dvorak, Jack Forrest, Annie Forzley, Jenna Halper, Mike Hayes, Brenna Koerner, Billy Luzzo, Trevor Murphy, Lisa Paloian, Rachel Rendak and Aleks Saulys.
