Lemont High School Alumni Association seeking “Hall of Fame” nominations
The Lemont High School Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the school’s Alumni Hall of Fame. The Alumni Hall of Fame is an important part of fostering school and community pride and recognizing the achievements of those individuals who have made Lemont High School an outstanding academic institution.
The Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes graduates who have made significant contributions to society and serve as role models to Lemont High School students. This recognition is the highest honor that can be given by Lemont High School to one of its alumni.

All nominees must be of good character, reflecting the qualities and ideals set forth by Lemont High School. Nominees are eligible for induction to the Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame 10 years after their graduation from the school.
Nominees should be graduates who have achieved a high degree of success in their respective professional fields, but individuals also may be nominated based on an act of bravery or heroism, or recognized for community service. Nominees should serve as role models for current students by consistently demonstrating the highest ethical and moral standards - both as a student and an alumnus.
While alumni are encouraged to nominate their fellow graduates for Alumni Hall of Fame considerations, nominations also can come from current and former teachers and staff, family members, business and civic leaders, and other community members.
Nomination forms are available for download by clicking on the link above, and also may be requested by contacting Director of School & Community Relations Tony Hamilton
at (630) 243-3280 or via e-mail by clicking on his name. Nominations should be returned no later than January 6, 2017.
The 2017 Alumni Hall of Fame class will be honored at the school’s annual Jazz Band Dinner Dance on March 4.
The Alumni Hall of Fame is independent from the Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame, which has provided an opportunity for the school to recognize alumni, coaches, parents and community members for outstanding athletic accomplishments and extraordinary support since it was established in 2004. If they meet the selection criteria, Athletic Hall of Fame honorees are eligible for inclusion in the Alumni Hall of Fame as well.
The Alumni Hall of Fame has welcomed two classes of inductees. Joe Forzley ‘45
, Patricia (Dalman) Knight ‘64
and Al Meyer ‘67
were part of the inaugural induction class in 2015, and Leo Cattoni ‘69
, Terry Duffy ‘73
and Dr. Sam Forzley ‘77
were inducted in 2016.
The Lemont High School Alumni Association aims to foster a lifelong connection among alumni and to enhance the bond with their alma mater.
