Lemont High School names more than 960 students to second semester honor rolls

6/12/2012

Lemont High School has tabbed 964 students with either Honor Roll or High Honor Roll distinction for the second semester of the 2011-12 school year.

Second Semester Honor Roll

More than 230 students were honored in each class. The senior class led the way with 256 students selected (180 High Honor Roll, 76 Honor Roll). The junior class followed with 242 honorees (182, 60). The sophomore (165, 71) and freshman (160, 72) classes had 236 and 232 students honored, respectively.

In order to achieve High Honor Roll status, students must be enrolled in six or more classes and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Honor Roll students must achieve a grade point average between 3.00 and 3.49. Any student who earns a grade lower than a “C” is not eligible to be honored on either list.
