As Lemont High School students enter the homestretch of the 2012-13 school year, learning remains our top priority. However, upcoming non-academic milestone events – including Prom and Graduation – will supply students with life-long memories. Prom activities and graduation parties generate a lot of fun, but unfortunately some students make poor choices during these festivities by consuming alcoholic beverages or partaking in drug use. Dr. Sandy Doebert

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Lemont High School District 210 for the last 18 years, and to work together with the Board of Education to lead the district for the past 10 years. I appreciate the opportunities I have had to participate with District 210 in a successful community partnership.

It has been very fulfilling to see the efforts of our faculty and staff realized in the increased achievement of our students in the classroom, as well as in all areas of extra-curricular involvement. I am excited to watch the continuous and increasing success of our students, faculty and staff under the leadership of our wonderful new superintendent, Dr. Mary Ticknor.

I know with confidence that the district's mission - "For all students to become life-long, independent learners and productive citizens in a rapidly changing world” - will remain its central focus and continue to guide the work of everyone involved in this special school community.
