Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame to add three inductees on September 30
The Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame will enshrine three inductees at a ceremony on Sunday, September 30, at Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Ill. Included among the honorees are Kevin Earnest ‘02
, Anthony Jordan ‘91
and Suzette (Lesnieski) Sniegowski ‘76
. These honorees make up the ninth induction class for the Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame, which was established in 2004.

The 2012 Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony will begin with a reception at noon on September 30. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m., with the induction ceremony beginning at approximately 1:45 p.m. Cog Hill Golf Club is located at 12294 Archer Avenue in Lemont.
Tickets are $25 each; reservations must be made through the Lemont High School Athletic Department by Wednesday, September 26. To make a reservation, call the athletic department at (630) 243-3207.

KEVIN EARNEST ‘02 –
Four-year varsity soccer letterman who helped Lemont to a 63-15-6 record from 1998-2001... Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) All-State honoree in 2001... tabbed as an IHSSCA All-Sectional and Star Newspaper All-Area pick as a junior and senior... All-Suburban Prairie Conference selection as a sophomore, junior and senior... Suburban Prairie Conference MVP as a junior in 2000... two-time tri-captain and team MVP... led team in scoring each year from 1999-2001... scored 173 career points (69 goals, 35 assists)... helped squad to an 18-2-2 record and a conference title in 1999... team went 17-4-1 in 2000 and won an IHSA Sectional title... graduated among the Class of 2002’s “Top 2 Percent”... participated in basketball and track and field... named “Most Athletic” in the Class of 2002... National Honor Society student... Illinois State Scholar... earned a scholarship to play men’s soccer at Northwestern University... Honorable Mention selection to Northwestern’s “Team of the Decade” for the 2000s... scored 28 career points (11 goals, six assists) at Northwestern... never missed a collegiate match, starting 61 of a possible 81 contests... five of his 11 career collegiate goals were game-winners... played in the 2004 Big Ten Championship Game... helped Northwestern to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004... Academic All-Big Ten honoree both as a junior in 2004 and a senior in 2005.
ANTHONY JORDAN ‘91 –
One of the top amateur bowlers in the state... accomplished member of the United States Bowling Congress... owner of many sanctioned 300 games and 800 series... bowled back-to-back 300 games in USBC Open Championship play... finished 22nd of more than 350 participants at the 2010 Professional Bowlers Association U.S. Open... was the only amateur among the top 24 finishers at the 2010 U.S. Open... won the Bradley Open (Lexington, Ky.) in 2010... member of the five-man Fox Bowl squad that won the Team All-Events title at the 2008 USBC Open Championship in Albuquerque, N.M.... Illinois State All-Events Champion both in 2003 and 2005... five-time Boot Hill Champion... ranks ninth all-time with a career 202 average in Boot Hill competition... three-sport athlete who participated in baseball, basketball and golf at Lemont High School... four-year member of the Outdoor Club... provides bowling lessons to youth bowlers... his sister, Tammy (Jordan) Richter ’94, finished fifth at the 1994 IHSA Girls’ Bowling State Finals.
SUZETTE (LESNIESKI) SNIEGOWSKI ‘76 –
Pioneer for girls’ sports at Lemont High School... four-year member of Girls’ Athletic Association... served both as Secretary and Treasurer of the Girls’ Athletic Association... girls’ track and field team MVP as a senior in 1976... won the Northeast Conference title in the high jump as a senior... captured the district title in the long jump in 1975... finished as the Northeast Conference runner-up in the long jump as a sophomore and senior... member of the Northeast Conference 440 Relay championship squad in 1974... four-year member of the cheerleading squad, serving as team captain in 1976... participated in the uneven bars as a gymnast... National Honor Society student... served as Freshman and Sophomore Class President, and also as Vice President of the Senior Class... member of the Student Council... named to the Prom Court as a junior in 1975... named “Most Popular” in Lemont’s Class of 1976... mother of two Lemont High School graduates – Joshua Sniegowski ’06 and Aubrey Sniegowski ‘09... active Lemont community volunteer... member of the Illinois Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.
