Since 2007, the Lemont High School Educational Foundation’s “Food for Thought” series has featured terrific food and fun. The Foundation’s Board of Directors decided to change things up in 2014 and put on its first-ever family-friendly event, with the hope of drawing interest from all ages. With more than 1,900 tickets sold and more than $51,000 in revenue, the series’ eighth event - “Food for Thought: Pizza Fest!” - easily is the most successful LHSEF event to date! Read More

Lemont High School’s award-winning marching band already has enjoyed its best competition season in years this fall, with two excellent finishes in as many weeks. However, its most wide-reaching performance soon will be seen by viewers throughout the Chicagoland area. Lemont High School will host its annual College and Financial Aid Night on Thursday, October 9, at 7 p.m. in the school’s Performing Arts Center. The program, which will feature Lewis University Director of Admissions Ryan Cockerill, will provide parents and guardians of students in grades 9-12 with an overview of financial aid and the college application process. Lemont High School’s state champion cheerleading program will host “Bowling for Bows” - a candlelight bowling fundraiser - at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, at Strke n’ Spare II in Lockport. This fun, family friendly event will serve as a fundraiser for head coach Dave Erlenbaugh’s program. Read More
