Lemont High School has announced its “Our Books, Our School” selections for the 2016-17 school year. Over the summer, students will have their choice of four young adult novels selected by a committee of the school’s faculty, staff and administration. In addition to choosing from the “Our Books, Our School” list, students in Honors and Advanced Placement level English courses will be responsible for additional summer reading assignments. Read More

Registration now is open for Lemont High School’s Summer Sports Academy, which provides enrichment opportunities in a variety of sports for students of all ages. Some of the camps are geared toward students who will be enrolled at Lemont High School in Fall 2016, but others are for students who will be in kindergarten through eighth grade. Read More
Lemont High School students placed among the top ten in 14 of 15 categories in which they were entered at the 2016 Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference, which was held in Springfield, Ill., on April 1-2. The 2016 FBLA State Leadership Conference attracted more than 1,400 competitors from across the state, and featured competitions in more than 70 events. Lemont students combined to win five event titles, matching a school record that was first established in 2011. Read More
Lemont High School and Old Quarry Middle School are joining forces for a Spring Choral Concert, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, in Lemont High School’s Performing Arts Center. All community members are invited to attend this free musical event. Read More
Lemont High School sophomore Celine Ratulowski has been chosen to serve on the IHSA Student Advisory Committee for the next two years. Ratulowski, who will begin serving on the committee in April, is the third Lemont student chosen to serve on the committee since its inception in 2009. Read More
Lemont High School teacher Bill Mondrella has taught an entrepreneurship class for many years, and always has stressed to his students that the best products are simple solutions to common problems. Throughout the development of his new product - the “HatHub” - Mondrella has employed assistance and input from students. His simple solution is now ready for a Kickstarter campaign. Read More
