Dr. Mary Ticknor

From July 18-20, hundreds of people attended Little Mountain Community Theatre’s debut production, “The Wizard of Oz.” The show was very entertaining and brought together people – including the actors, musicians, crew, and the audience itself – from a variety of surrounding communities to Lemont High School’s Performing Arts Center. This 850+ seat venue truly belongs to the community. Since opening in Spring 2008, it has played host to a range of events, ranging from concerts to park district events to Lemont High School theater and music productions. Read More

Support Lemont High School

Despite its rapid growth in recent years, Lemont High School still enjoys the benefits of being a "small town" school. Whether in academics, athletics or the arts, Lemont High School students and staff enjoy a tremendous amount of support from the Lemont community.

The Blue & Gold Backers and Band Parents' Association have provided countless hours and significant financial support to Lemont High School for decades. The Lemont High School Educational Foundation formed in 2007, with a goal of enhancing educational opportunities and enriching the overall experience for Lemont High School students. The school also boasts nearly 10,000 alumni, many of whom make their way back to Lemont to see how much the school has grown since they received their diplomas.
