Lemont High School has tabbed 983 students with either Honor Roll or High Honor Roll distinction for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year.
More than 225 students were honored in each class. The senior class led the way with 262 students selected (213 High Honor Roll, 49 Honor Roll). The sophomore class followed with 252 honorees (196/56). The freshman (191/49) and junior (169/60) classes had 240 and 229 recipients, respectively.
In order to achieve High Honor Roll status, students must be enrolled in six or more class periods and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Honor Roll students must achieve a grade point average between 3.00 and 3.49. Any student who earns a grade lower than a “C” is not eligible to be honored on either list.
