Twelve Lemont student-athletes make college commitments

Twelve Lemont High School student-athletes have announced their commitments to compete collegiately beginning in Fall 2025. They include baseball players Zach Corse (Oakton Community College), Matt Devoy (University of Missouri-St. Louis), Shea Glotzbach (University of Missouri-St. Louis), Tyler Lebak (College of DuPage), Rocco Luciano (Trinity Christian College), Jack Malak (Illinois College), Donovan Moleski (Carleton College) and Nick Reno (Carthage College); cheerleader Jordan Cryer (University of Missouri); dancer Madelyn Zolecki (Carthage College); and women’s track and field athletes Niki Tselios (University of Illinois-Chicago) and Ashley Wrublik (Eastern Illinois University).

Zach Corse – Career Highlights

  • Is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Has taken on a primary role as a catcher as a senior this season
  • Is batting .286 with one double, five runs scored, and five RBIs
  • Also has drawn 12 walks and has an on-base percentage of .479
  • Has posted a fielding percentage of better than .990, committing just one error in more than 150 chances, while throwing out 26 percent of would-be base stealers (7 of 27)
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024
  • Batted .400 in limited action, with one double, two runs scored, and four RBIs
  • Lemont went 31-10, tying for the second-most wins in a season in school history, and was the SSC Blue runner-up
  • It went on a terrific postseason run, winning IHSA Regional, IHSA Sectional and IHSA Super-Sectional titles, and finishing as the 2024 IHSA Class 3A State Runner-Up

  • Will play for head coach Bill Fratto at Oakton Community College, an National Junior College Athletic Association Division III institution that is located in Des Plaines, Ill., and is a member of the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference. Fratto has led the Owls to more than 500 wins, as well as the 2018 NJCAA Division III National Championship. Oakton is 32-27 and will continue its season after winning its regional.

Jordan Cryer – Career Highlights

  • Earned four letters for head coach Bree Grady-Simpson
  • One of the most decorated athletes in program history
  • Helped Lemont to three South Suburban Conference-Blue Division titles, two sectional crowns, one state runner-up finish, and consecutive IHSA Medium Division State Championships
  • Four-time National Cheerleading Association All-American who also was named as an NCA Top All-American in 2025
  • Was named Lemont’s “Top Tumbler” four straight years
  • Cited with team MVP and All-SSC honors as a senior in 2025
  • Lemont finished as the SSC Blue Runner-up, and repeated as the IHSA Medium Division State Champion
  • Earned team MVP and All-SSC accolades as a junior in 2024
  • Lemont won its third straight SSC Blue title and an IHSA Sectional crown, and captured the IHSA Medium Division State Championship
  • Helped Lemont to an SSC Blue title and IHSA Medium Division State Runner-Up finish as a sophomore in 2023

Missouri won consecutive NCA Large Coed National Championships in 2023 and 2024, and placed among the top six in both the Large Coed and All-Girl divisions in 2025.

Matt Devoy – Career Highlights

  • Is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Has excelled as an outfielder and a pitcher while serving as a team captain as a senior
  • Ranks second on the team with a .351 batting average, and leads the team in hits (26), doubles (8) and stolen bases (17)
  • Has posted an on-base percentage of .479, and ranks second on the team with 16 walks and third with 24 runs scored
  • On the mound, has put together a 2-2 record with a 1.29 ERA and 0.98 WHIP over 32.2 innings
  • Leads the team with 44 strikeouts (9.43 per 7 innings) and has limited opponents to a .167 batting average
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024, earning honorable mention All-SSC honors
  • Batted .333 with seven doubles and was perfect on 25 stolen base attempts

Eul just finished his third season as head coach, as the Tritons finished the 2025 season with a 29-24 record while reaching the GLVC Tournament semifinals.

Shea Glotzbach – Career Highlights

  • Is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Has made major contributions at the plate and on the mound while serving as a team captain as a senior
  • Is batting .308 with team highs of two home runs and 24 RBIs
  • Ranks second on the team with 13 stolen bases and 26 runs scored
  • Leads the team with a .571 on-base percentage and 22 hit-by-pitches, and ranks second in slugging (.519) and OPS (1.091)
  • Has been one of Lemont’s top pitchers, posting a 3-0 record with a 1.02 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in a team-high 34.1 innings
  • Ranks second on the team with 35 strikeouts (7.14 per 7 innings) and has held opponents to a .211 batting average

Tyler Lebak – Career Highlights (numbers accurate as of 5/23/25)

  • Lefthanded pitcher who is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Has thrown 10.0 innings over four appearances, posting a 2-1 record with a 2.10 ERA and 1.40 WHIP
  • Has allowed just five hits while striking out 16 batters (11.20 per 7 innings)
  • Lemont currently is 26-6-1, shared the South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title with a 16-3 league record, and is one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024, appearing in five games while going 2-0 with nine strikeouts in 6.1 innings
  • Lemont went 31-10, tying for the second-most wins in a season in school history, and was the SSC Blue runner-up

  • Will play for head coach Karsten Leigvold at College of DuPage, a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III institution that is located in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Leigvold just finished his second season, as his team posted an 18-27 record in 2025. Last season, Leigvold led the Chaparrals to a fourth place finish at the NJCAA Division III World Series.

Rocco Luciano – Career Highlights

  • Is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Serving as Lemont’s primary second baseman as a senior
  • Is batting .326 with two doubles, 14 runs scored, 10 RBIs and four stolen bases
  • Has posted a .492 on-base percentage and is second on the team with 12 hit-by-pitches
  • Is fourth among regulars in batting average and on-base percentage
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024
  • Batted .458 with one double, 12 runs scored, nine RBIs and six stolen bases.
  • Posted an on-base percentage of .618, thanks in part to five hit-by-pitches, which ranked third on the team

  • Will play for head coach Adam Enright at Trinity Christian University, an NAIA institution that is located in Palos Heights, Ill., and is a member of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Trolls went 13-33 this spring in Enright’s fourth season, but he guided them to a National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association World Series runner-up finish in 2023.

Jack Malak – Career Highlights

  • Has seen time at third base as a senior
  • Is batting .333 with one triple, four runs scored and three RBIs
  • Has posted a slugging percentage of .500 and an OPS of .929
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024
  • Had two hits, eight runs scored, four RBIs, six walks and three stolen bases in limited action

Donovan Moleski – Career Highlights

  • Is in his second year playing for head coach Brian Storako
  • Team captain who has been limited by an injury as a senior
  • Made three appearances on the mound prior to his injury, posting a 2-1 record and 3.44 ERA in 9.0 innings
  • Struck out 11 batters (8.56 per 7 innings)
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024
  • Posted a 5-0 record with one save and a 2.08 ERA in 30.1 innings
  • Ranked third on the team in wins and second in saves
  • Made nine of his 11 appearances out of the bullpen, striking out 28 while limiting batters to a .225 average

  • Has been one of Lemont’s most reliable pitchers as a senior
  • Is 3-1 with a save and a 1.25 ERA in 22.1 innings, while limiting opponents to a .179 average
  • Tied for second on the team in wins and ranks fourth with 31 strikeouts (9.72 per 7 innings)
  • Six of his nine appearances have come out of the bullpen
  • Lemont currently is 22-4-1, including a 12-1 record in South Suburban Conference play, and is expected to be one of the top seeds in its sectional
  • Made his varsity debut as a junior in 2024
  • Posted a 1-1 record, pitching 20.2 innings over nine appearances
  • Ranked fourth on the team with 30 strikeouts (10.16 per 7 innings)
  • Lemont went 31-10, tying for the second-most wins in a season in school history, and was the SSC Blue runner-up

Currently an assistant coach at Carthage, Lequia will assume the reins in 2026 after the retirement of current head coach Augie Schmidt IV. The Firebirds went 30-14 this season and were the CCIW regular-season runner-up.

Niki Tselios – Career Highlights

  • Has earned seven letters combined in cross country and track and field for head coach Tim Plotke
  • Two-time South Suburban Conference-Blue Division champion in cross country, and a three-time All-SSC Blue performer in track and field
  • Has been part of four conference champion teams (two in cross country, two in track and field)
  • Owns three of the top 20 fastest times in cross country program history
  • Has posted personal bests of 5:19.3 in the 1600 meter run and 11:42.8 in the 3200 meter run
  • Helped Lemont to the 2025 SSC Blue Track and Field title as a senior in 2025
  • Won the 1600 meter run, and was part of victorious 4x400 and 4x800 relay squads
  • Was part of a school record effort in the distance medley relay this spring
  • Member of the 4x800 relay squad that placed sixth at the 2025 Illinois Top Times in a school record time (9:42.9)
  • Competed on the winning 4x800 relay squad as a junior in 2024, as Lemont placed third in the SSC Blue
  • Ran on the victorious 4x800 relay team as a sophomore in 2023, helping Lemont to an SSC Blue title
  • Placed fourth in the 3200 meter run as a freshman in 2022, as Lemont placed sixth at the SSC Blue Meet

  • Will run for head coach Paul Zavala at the University of Illinois-Chicago, an NCAA Division I institution that is located in Chicago, Ill., and is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. Zavala is in his third season leading the women’s cross country and track and field programs. The Flames were eighth at the 2024 MVC Cross Country Championship, and will participate in the upcoming MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

Niki Tselios – Career Highlights

  • Has earned four letters in track and field for head coach Tim Plotke
  • Three-time All-South Suburban Conference-Blue Division performer who has been part of two conference champion teams in track and field
  • Has posted personal bests of 39’02.50” in the shot put and 98’7” in the discus throw
  • Also has competed in the 200 meter run and long jump during her career
  • Has placed in the top four in the shot put four straight years in the SSC Blue, and has not finished lower than sixth in sectional competition
  • Helped Lemont to the 2025 SSC Blue Track and Field title as a senior in 2025
  • Won the shot put and placed fourth in the discus with a career-best effort
  • Has placed first in the shot put five times during the outdoor season, as well as four times during the indoor season
  • Was fourth in the shot put at the 2025 Illinois Top Times Championship
  • Finished as the conference runner-up in the shot put as a junior in 2024, as Lemont placed third in the SSC Blue
  • Posted a personal best to finish as the IHSA Sectional runner-up, and was 11th at the 2024 IHSA Class 3A State Finals
  • Was the conference runner-up in the shot put as a sophomore in 2023, helping Lemont to an SSC Blue title, before placing fifth in the sectional
  • Placed fourth in the SSC Blue in the shot put as a freshman in 2022, as Lemont placed sixth at the SSC Blue Meet
  • Placed sixth in the sectional that season
  • Earned four letters in cheerleading and was part of a state runner-up team in 2023 and IHSA Medium Division State Champion squads in 2024 and 2025

  • Will compete for head coach James Gildon at Eastern Illinois University, an NCAA Division I institution that is located in Charleston, Ill., and is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. Gildon serves as the Panthers’ Director of Track and Field and Cross Country. Eastern Illinois was fifth at this year’s OVC Indoor Championship and will compete in the upcoming OVC Outdoor Championship.

  • Was part of both the sideline and competitive varsity teams her final two years

  • Was part of a team that placed third at the SSC Blue Meet as a junior in 2024

  • Will be part of head coach Amy Malczewski’s team at Carthage College, an NCAA Division III institution that is located in Kenosha, Wis., and is a member of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin. Carthage advanced to the 2024 National Dance Association National Finals.
