Davey (9.2000) placed third in Floor Exercise at the IHSA Oswego Sectional to earn a state finals berth. The top five sectional finishers in each event automatically advance to state finals competition, and the top 12 remaining scorers throughout the state in each individual event and the All-Around advance as at-large state finals qualifiers.

Head coach Jarrod Amolsch’s Hinsdale South/Lemont co-op team advanced to sectional competition by winning the IHSA Hinsdale Central Regional. Davey (9.1750) was the regional champion in Floor Exercise. The team was the West Suburban Conference-Gold Division runner-up this season.

Rena Fox ‘98 is the only Lemont student to medal in IHSA Girls’ Gymnastics State Finals competition, finishing as the state runner-up in the All-Around and placing third in the Uneven Parallel Bars at the 1998 IHSA State Finals. Fox qualified for state finals competition in both 1997 and 1998. Lemont’s other state finals qualifiers have included Gabrielle Salomon ‘20 (2017) and Eileen Strube ‘05 (2002).
