The Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education is seeking input from community members as it works with educational consultant Cathie Pezanoski to secure a replacement for Superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor, who will retire on June 30, 2025. District 210’s Board of Education and Pezanoski have developed the process and initial timeline for conducting the search for the district’s new superintendent.

To help determine the qualities and qualifications the next superintendent should possess to be successful in the Lemont High School community, parents/guardians and other community members are invited to attend open community forums on Wednesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 22. Additional forums are scheduled for Lemont High School’s faculty and staff.

The May 15 and May 22 community forums will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held in the District 210 Board Room. Attendees should enter Lemont High School through the District 210 entrance, which is located at the east end of the building on Porter Street. Individuals who plan to attend are asked to RSVP in advance.

Additional information concerning the superintendent search timeline will be available in late summer or early fall.
