Reilly Richa
Freshman
Family and Consumer Sciences

Reilly Richa was named the Freshman Student of the Month by the Family and Consumer Sciences Department. Reilly says that her favorite class is Family and Consumer Sciences Survey, not only because it is enjoyable but also because she is learning helpful life skills. Her teachers applaud her leadership qualities and enthusiastic class participation, and appreciate her positive attitude and willingness to assist her classmates. Though she’s just in her first semester on campus, she already has taken on a backstage role for the fall play and is a member of the Foreign Language Club. An honor roll student as a middle schooler, she plans on becoming an elementary school teacher. In her spare time, Reilly is involved in her church and enjoys hanging out with her family and friends.

Aldo Pizzoferrato
Sophomore
World Languages

The World Languages Department tabbed Aldo Pizzoferrato as the Sophomore Student of the Month. A high honor roll student, Aldo lists Mathematics, Business and Spanish among his favorite academic interests. He demonstrates terrific energy in class, is supportive of his classmates, and employs his natural talent to use Spanish as much as possible in class. Aldo is involved in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including boys’ golf, boys’ basketball, Interact and the Future Business Leaders of America. He plans on pursuing studies to become a financial planner, and hopes to attend a Big Ten Conference school. He enjoys playing golf, hanging out with friends and attending sporting events, and also serves as a caddy at Ruth Lake Country Club.

Hailey Richa
Junior
Art

Hailey Richa was cited as the Junior Student of the Month by the Art Department. Hailey is a high honor roll performer whose favorite classes include Ceramics and Drawing and Painting II. She regularly impresses her art teachers with her impeccable craftsmanship and creativity. She maximizes her time and pushes herself to tackle challenging projects while also assisting her peers. Hailey is a member of the girls’ track and field program, and will hold a prominent on-stage role in the school’s fall play, “The Odd Couple.” One of her main goals is to go to Haiti to do volunteer work. While busy with scholastic activities during the school year, she serves as a nanny for two children during the summer. She also leads a group of preschoolers at her church each week.

Alex Pesole
Senior
Physical Education

The Physical Education Department picked Alex Pesole as the Senior Student of the Month. Alex’s favorite classes include Physical Education, Theatre Technology and Woods Technology II. A past recipient of honor roll accolades, Alex is described as a “model student” in Physical Education who never seems to have a bad day. He consistently comes to class ready to work, and enthusiastically participates in all activities to the best of his abilities. He readily accepts challenges, works to beat his personal bests, and is respectful of his teachers and classmates. After finishing high school, Alex hopes to become a forest ranger. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, volunteers at a local animal shelter, and is learning to fly a plane.
