Arjun Reddigari

Arjun Reddigari was selected as the Freshman Student of the Month by the Mathematics Department. Arjun is a high honor roll student who enjoys Accelerated Geometry Honors, Accelerated Trigonometry Honors and Biology Honors. He says that he loves dealing with numbers. While he at first can appear quiet and reserved, Arjun’s teachers find him to be inquisitive, thoughtful, motivated and conscientious. He is involved in the school’s Interact Club, and is a member of both the Worldwide Youth in Science & Engineering and state-qualifying Mathletes squads. Arjun plans on playing on the boys’ tennis team this spring. He hopes to attend a top university, with an ultimate goal of pursuing a career in the medical field. In his spare time, Arjun enjoys reading about and watching sports, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.

Matt Gottardo

The Music Department picked Matt Gottardo as the Sophomore Student of the Month. Matt’s favorite classes this year include Theatre Technology, Algebra II and Marching Band. He is involved in a wide range of activities, including Interact, Yearbook, Jazz Band, Concert Band and Marching Band. He also volunteers his time at both the Lemont Park District and St. Cyril and Methodius Church. An honor roll student, Matt has improved dramatically as a musician, and is willing to work one-on-one with his peers. He spends countless hours working in the Theatre Tech program, and demonstrates outward excitement for music and the theatre. He plans on studying finance in college, and hopes to stay involved with music. Matt shovels snow and cuts grass in his neighborhood, and enjoys listening to music and boating.

Stephen Santucci

Stephen Santucci was named the Junior Student of the Month by the Science Department. A high honor roll performer, Stephen says that he most enjoys math and science classes because they allow him to solve real-world problems using skills he has learned. He is a member of the boys’ tennis team, and is part of the school’s Future Business Leaders of America and Mathletes organizations as well. Stephen was inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta math honors society earlier this year. His teachers note that he has excelled in the honors science curriculum, leads by example during labs, and asks thought-provoking questions. He intends on pursuing a degree in business, with hopes of either earning an MBA or attending law school. In his free time, Stephen enjoys playing the guitar and drums, video editing, golf and aviation.
