Nick Bromberek '00 became the first Lemont student-athlete to win an individual state championship when he won the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and long jump at the 2000 IHSA Boys' Track and Field State Championship. With only Bromberek competing, Lemont finished as the runner-up at the 2000 IHSA Class AA Boys' Track and Field State Finals.
Wrestler Angel Cabral '10 recorded back-to-back state championships when he earned the 285-pound title at both the 2009 and 2010 Class 2A Individual Wrestling State Championships.
Matt Leibforth '10 became the school's first-ever undefeated state champion when he triumphed in the 135-pound weight class at the 2010 Class 2A Individual Wrestling State Championship. Leibforth finished with a 45-0 record.
Kyra Udziela '15 became the first Lemont student-athlete to win an individual title in an IHSA all-classes event when she finished as the individual champion at the 2015 IHSA Girls' Bowling State Finals.
A single-season school record three wrestlers won titles at the 2020 IHSA Class 2A Wrestling Individual State Finals: Drew Nash '20 (126), Apollo Gothard '21 (220) and Muhamad Jarad '20 (285). Gothard finished the season 49-0 and set a school season record for victories.
