Athletic Hall of Fame
The Lemont High School Athletic Hall of Fame provides an opportunity for the school to recognize alumni, coaches, parents and community members for outstanding athletic accomplishments and extraordinary support.
The school's Hall of Fame Selection Committee is comprised of longtime coach and former Physical Education Department Chair Bill Bozue; former Lemont athlete and alumna Dana (Laketa) Dinnon '86; longtime Athletic Director and coach John Jones; former Lemont athlete and alumnus and former Science Department Chair Tim Leffler '77; longtime Assistant Athletic Director and coach Pam Murray; former Lemont athlete and alumna Margaret (McDevitt) Ponga '81; and current Director of Activities & Athletics John Young.
Nominations are accepted annually in one of four categories - Athlete, Coach, Parent/Community Member, and Pride of Lemont. All nominees must be of good character, reflecting the qualities and ideals set forth in the school’s Athletic Code of Conduct. Nominees in the 'Athlete' category are not eligible for induction to the Athletic Hall of Fame until five years after their graduation from the school.
