Athletic Hall of Fame: Roger Weber '72

Multi-sport athlete who excelled for four years on the basketball court… earned All-Northeast Conference honors in 1972, when he also was named as a first-team all-Joliet area selection and as an honorable mention Chicago all-area pick… also played baseball for three years, ran cross country for three years, and participated in track and field for four seasons… tabbed as the “Most Athletic” in Lemont High School’s Class of 1972… served as a starter on the Armstrong State College (now Armstrong Atlantic State University) basketball squad… helped the team to a No. 1 ranking… Armstrong State qualified both for the NAIA Playoffs and the NCAA Division II Playoffs during his career… graduated as the school’s all-time leader in assists, and still ranks second on that list… also ranks among the school’s all-time leaders in steals.
