Multi-sport athlete whose best success came on the baseball diamond… four-year starter in baseball who earned team MVP honors as a junior and senior… Northeast Conference MVP in 1989… named as one of the area’s top 100 baseball players by the Chicago Sun-Times… also played basketball and football and participated in track and field… earned all-conference accolades as a shortstop in 1990 and 1991 at Joliet Junior College… received team MVP honors at JJC… transferred to Marian (Wis.) College, where he earned all-conference honors and helped his team to an appearance in the NAIA World Series in 1993… served as a stadium operations superintendent for a semi-pro baseball team.
