Four-year member of the boys’ golf team… IHSA state qualifier… helped team to a 19-3 record as a senior while taking away a sixth-place finish in the sectional… earned third-team All-America, All-Big Ten and team MVP honors at Purdue University in 1981… still holds the school record for lowest 72-hole score (278), which he established while helping the Boilermakers to the Big Ten Championship… member of the PGA Tour for six years, the Ben Hogan Nike Tour for eight years, and the Asian Tour for three years… two-time tournament champion on the Nike Tour… two-time Illinois PGA Section champion… 1994 Illinois Open Champion.
