Four-sport athlete who competed in basketball, softball, track and field and volleyball... still holds the school’s single-season (540) and career (1,450) scoring records in girls’ basketball... helped head coach Bill Bozue’s teams to a 75-9 record from 1981-84, which included three Northeast Conference titles and three 20-win seasons... as a senior, averaged a school single-season record 18.0 points per game and helped her team to a 27-3 record, as it won IHSA Regional, Sectional and Super-Sectional titles and was a Class A State Quarterfinalist... earned Joliet Herald News and Northeast Conference Player of the Year Honors in 1984... three-time team MVP and all-area and all-conference performer... honorable mention Chicago Tribune all-state pick... set school career records for field goals (615), field goal percentage (.493) and steals (201), and ranked second in career rebounds (737)... as a volleyball player, twice was named as an all-conference player, and was tabbed as the team MVP as a senior in 1983... Senior Class President, Varsity Club President and Student Council Vice President... member of the Pep Band, Mathletes, National Honor Society, Science Club and Yearbook... served as a Drum Major, and finished as her class salutatorian... earned a basketball scholarship to Lewis University... played for Lewis for two years, including the 1984-85 campaign when the Flyers went 22-7, won the Great Lakes Valley Conference and appeared in the NCAA Division II Tournament... played for the University of Iowa’s Club Volleyball squad from 1987-88.
