Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) All-State honoree in 2001... tabbed as an IHSSCA All-Sectional and Star Newspaper All-Area pick as a junior and senior... All-Suburban Prairie Conference selection as a sophomore, junior and senior... Suburban Prairie Conference MVP as a junior in 2000... two-time tri-captain and team MVP... led team in scoring each year from 1999-2001... scored 173 career points (69 goals, 35 assists)... helped squad to an 18-2-2 record and a conference title in 1999... team went 17-4-1 in 2000 and won an IHSA Sectional title... graduated among the Class of 2002’s “Top 2 Percent”... participated in basketball and track and field... named “Most Athletic” in the Class of 2002... National Honor Society student... Illinois State Scholar... earned a scholarship to play men’s soccer at Northwestern University... Honorable Mention selection to Northwestern’s “Team of the Decade” for the 2000s... scored 28 career points (11 goals, six assists) at Northwestern... never missed a collegiate match, starting 61 of a possible 81 contests... five of his 11 career collegiate goals were game-winners... played in the 2004 Big Ten Championship Game... helped Northwestern to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004...
