Four-year basketball player for Hall of Fame coach Bill Bozue ... became the first girls’ basketball player in school history to record 1,000 career points ... earned multiple All-Northeast Conference and all-area accolades ... tabbed as the Joliet area’s “Best Female Athlete” ... set single-game records for both field goals made (18) and points (39) that still stand today ... set single-season records with 240 field goals and 537 points and led the Northeast Conference in rebounding as a junior in 1980 ... helped Lemont to a 23-6 record, a Northeast Conference title, and a third-place finish in the IHSA Class A Tournament in 1980 ... the 1980 team became the first program in school history – boys or girls – to win an IHSA state trophy, and set a school record for wins (since broken) ... cited as a second-team Associated Press All-Tournament pick, and a first-team IHSA Class A All-Tournament selection ... earned multiple Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Week honors in her career ... also participated two seasons in both soccer and softball, and one season each in track and field and volleyball ... earned a basketball scholarship to Marycrest College.
