Erin Barndollar
Freshman
Mathematics

The Mathematics Department selected Erin Barndollar as the Freshman Student of the Month. A high honor roll student, Erin most enjoys STEM-related topics and counts Integrated Math III Honors and Orientation to Industrial Technology as her favorite classes. Described as a genuinely kind student whose love of math is evident in and out of the classroom, she advocates for herself respectfully and is not shy about sharing ideas with her peers. A member of the Mathletes squad and a Mu Alpha Theta inductee, Erin serves as the class treasurer, and is a member of the girls’ tennis program, Student Council and Principal’s Advisory Group. She hopes to pursue a degree in architecture. In her free time, Erin serves as a tutor, spends time with family and friends, is active in the Girl Scouts, and enjoys the occasional nap and Disney movie.

Annette Winterland
Sophomore
Music
Annette Winterland was tabbed as the Sophomore Student of the Month by the Music Department. Annette is a high honor roll performer whose favorite subjects are math and science. Annette stands out as a strong musician, shows her desire to make others better by helping her peers, and uses a contagious positive attitude to lead by example. She not only has been a member of several band ensembles, but also has earned induction into Mu Alpha Theta and the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and is a member of the girls’ tennis program, Interact, Mathletes, and the Health Occupations Student Association. Annette plans on becoming a biomedical engineer and hopes to travel the world. She is an award-winning Girl Scout who works at Franciscan Village, and loves to paint, listen to music and spend time outside.

Katelyn Parent
Junior
Science

The Science Department cited Katelyn Parent as the Junior Student of the Month. Katelyn is a high honor roll student whose favorite classes include Spanish III Honors, Biotechnology, Chemistry Honors and Anatomy & Physiology Honors. Her teachers state she exemplifies what a science student should be, as her curiosity, work ethic, enthusiasm and inquisitive nature have helped her succeed in a wide range of classes. A member of the state-qualifying Competitive Dance team, Katelyn is a Science National Honor Society and National Honor Society inductee, as well as a member of the Student Council and Baking Club. She plans on studying biology in college and has her sights set on becoming a research biologist. Katelyn works at Gelsosomo’s, and in her free time loves to cook and bake.

Tadas Rimkevicius
Senior
Business

Tadas Rimkevicius was named the Senior Student of the Month by the Business Department. A high honor roll student, Tadas likes any subjects related to math or logic, and currently most enjoys Calculus and AP Computer Science Principles. He is taking full advantage of the school’s college preparatory program by taking classes in a variety of disciplines. Tadas is part of both the Pep Band and Marching Band, and is a Mu Alpha Theta inductee and a member of the Crafts Club. His teachers applaud the way he comes to class prepared and full of energy each day. He always is willing to help a peer who needs assistance. Tadas plans on attending college and pursuing studies in computer science, and may pursue a masters or doctorate degree. He enjoys running, playing the flute and guitar, and working on programming projects.
