Prom

All guests who are not Lemont High School students MUST have a Date Request Form signed and completed prior to purchasing a ticket.

The completed form must be returned to the Dean's Office and be approved prior to a ticket being purchased. Forms should be returned by Monday, March 27, and must be handed in prior to a ticket being purchased. Forms can be downloaded from the link above or picked up in the Main Office. Students are responsible for their guests and their actions.

Tickets will be available for purchase online via RevTrak through March 31.

The individual completing the Prom Registration Form must provide the name, t-shirt size, parent/guardian phone number, and any dietary restrictions for each person who will purchase a ticket.

Lemont High School’s administration and faculty have established the following guidelines for school-sponsored events - including Prom - in an effort to provide safe, appropriate, drug-free activities:

1. A student who appears to be under the influence will not be admitted into the school activity, and his/her parents/guardians will be notified.
2. If a student or his/her guest is under the influence, disciplinary consequences will be applied according to the Student Code of Conduct, which is found in the Student Handbook. These consequences may include police notification.

The combination of driving and drinking or drug use is a frightening thought for all of us, especially when it involves young people. Although this concern is with us throughout the year, it is heightened during the months of April and May, since these months signify the approaching close of the school year and include many celebratory events. Many parents/guardians become concerned about the possibility of under-aged students consuming alcoholic beverages or partaking in drug use.

Adults who furnish alcohol to minors face criminal and civil liability.

Parental Liability and
Child Curfew

Some concerned parents/guardians have asked the school what they should do when they become aware of an instance when alcohol may be served to a minor. As a public service, Lemont High School and the Lemont Police Department have established a method by which this information may be reported. Parents/guardians may reach Det. Robert Keane at (630) 243-3229, or via email by clicking on his name. Parents, students and community members all are encouraged to report such activities, or to ask related questions. It is in the interest of prevention this service is provided.

Prom is a wonderful evening for everyone who attends. We appreciate the many efforts made in helping us maintain its success and to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our students.
