Daybreak Telehealth

Daybreak Health partners with school districts to provide students and families with access to virtual therapy with qualified clinicians. Students are matched with clinicians who can assist them with issues such as anxiety, depression, attention and focus, relationships, stress, and more.

Thanks to a grant from the South Cook Intermediate Service Center, Lemont High School is able to offer free telehealth services to all students through Daybreak Health.

Parents/guardians who wish to make a referral for a student can do so online by clicking on the button above, or by contacting a member of the Student Services Team (directory below).

After an intake appointment, students are matched with a therapist based on individual needs. During the program, the therapist helps students understand their emotions and learn new skills and strategies to manage their symptoms in class, at home, and throughout their lives.

Therapy session content remains confidential, and telehealth appointments are available from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Students meet with their therapists weekly for 50 minutes over as many as 12 weeks.

Communication between a Daybreak therapist and school personnel only will occur if a student and his/her parent/guardian signs a release of information form.

According to Daybreak Health, its student-based mental health services have a major impact on the students with whom it works. 92 percent of families report improvements for their child, and 80 percent of school staff report improvements in attendance, grades, and behavior.
