Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters

The LHS Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters is a parent-led, not-for-profit and an official 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It has assumed the role formerly held by the Backers organization, which began supporting Lemont athletics in the 1960s.

The LHS Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters is excited to support Lemont High School student-athletes! It will raise funds for ALL Lemont High School athletic programs through the sale of spirit wear and concessions, as well as through special events.

All Lemont High School athletes and their parents/guardians are automatic members of the Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters, and there are no fees or dues!

The Boosters use a “grant” style application process that allows coaches to apply for funding.

The LHS Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters can’t be successful without volunteers! There will be volunteer opportunities posted on the Boosters social media, and coaches will send emails to the families in their programs. Why volunteer? When coaches submit their grant requests for consideration to the Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters, the amount of volunteering from families within that sport is considered as part of the review process.

Concessions is a major fundraiser for athletics, and the Boosters wants to bring it back for as many sports as possible. However, we need help in order to do that. Please contact the Boosters at lemontathleticboosters@gmail.com for more information on how you can help.

The Boosters meet every other month. Their meetings will be announced on their social media channels.

The LHS Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters annually hold a Craft Show at Lemont High School on the first weekend of December. Applications still are being accepted. Please save the date and plan to join us!
